My initial impression of the book cover was that it was not eye-catching meaning that if I were in a book store, I would probably walk right by it. However, I will say that this isn't my usual genre of reading so I probably wouldn't be in this section of the book store anyway. That being said, the design of the cover makes sense for the story contained within so I get it.
The book description did capture my attention and made me curious to see what it would be about. The sample that I read was actually pretty interesting in the sense that I didn't want to put it down for the most part. I definitely believe that readers who enjoying reading military-related or military themed books, whether fiction or non-fiction, will thoroughly enjoy reading this book. I would definitely recommend this book to others. My overall rating based on the sample is 4 stars.
