I didn't expect to like this book. I definitely read it with a bias as someone who has been around the military for many years now. I was pleasantly surprised. Many books of this type read like an assignment and I feel like I have to take notes while struggling through them. This book was an easy read while presenting several ideas for self awareness, improvement, and growth. There were absolutely sections of the book that felt like the author was bragging about their accomplishments and how great they were in a specific situation. Sometimes the stories told to illustrate a point didn't make sense to me but I ultimately really enjoyed this book and found some great take home points. I would definitely recommend this book.
