I had a difficult time putting this book down. I was really not expecting the stories or lessons to be as good as they were. The stories about Navy Seals making the ultimate sacrifice for their fellow SEALS really had me questioning what I have done for my fellow man. I have read several motivating stories and this one was right up there amongst the best as far as motivation factor goes. If you need a gut punch of inspiration then this book is for you. I found myself not only enjoying Mike Hayes' stories but also personally connecting with them and almost crying while reading. Not for the faint of heart. If you're not into self reflection or realism this may feel like a swift kick in the ass. Nothing is sugar coated or watered down and I preferred it that way. Will be keeping some of the affirmations mentioned in the book for future reference. 👌 (less)
