I feel like I’m a better person just for having read this book. Although there were moments when i wondered what this book had to offer someone like me, i was able to make the connections the author offered. I say offered because nothing was shoved down the reader’s throat, but set forth in a very thought provoking way. Even the moment where he discussed his religious faith was respectful and meaningful.
The book is organized around a series of points the author is trying to make, and each chapter is divided into a series of vignettes which illustrate his points. The stories are not lengthy, and the author is skilled at cutting away the extraneous details so the moral is exposed for examination. I am so impressed by this man!
