I truly was hooked after the first two pages. I cannot wait to hear more of the stories and hear the advice to motivate anyone to be the best person they can be. I work in a middle school and in a "normal" year, it's very difficult to motivate students to attend school every day, participate in class, do all of their work, study for tests, and keep doing that on a daily basis despite many failing grades along the way. In the current climate of COVID, motivation has become even more difficult as remote learning has brought on additional unwanted challenges. If I can learn and share any experiences and wisdom from this novel, I'm hopeful that maybe some students may hear the message and if even only one student may be impacted in a positive way, I'd be thrilled!
