I enjoyed the way it was written, like the author was talking directly to me. It was interesting to read about the process the author underwent to become a SEAL, and the way he extracted broader lessons from the unique experiences he'd had. However I felt like the recollections got a little jumbled on occasion, and this book is probably one best read in multiple sitdowns - you couldn't absorb it all in one read.
