Lets just start off by saying that I'm not much into self help books, so this already is a hard pass for me because of that. However, I will say that I do like that there is time spent establishing why Mr. Hayes believes he is qualified to council readers on leadership based off of his history. So that is the pro. The con, like most every self help book, is that they all come across preachy and self congratulatory. This book is no different. It is the same "look at me and how amazing I am, don't you want to be me?" stuff that most self help books are full of. So its a no for me, but that being said, if someone is looking for leadership tips and sees Mr. Hayes as an aspirational role model then I have no doubt this book would be of great help to them.
