Even though my life seems completely opposite of the author's, I can still relate and see how those lessons could apply to my life. I'm definitely not up to that self-improving, always-achieving, pushing-limits standard the author has, but I can feel myself getting motivated and inspired nonetheless. Like the author said, take one step at a time! I also learned a lot about what it means to be a SEAL, and I have much respect for them.
