I am always intrigued by memoirs. However, this one didn't impress me much in the first impression. I am aware this this type of memoir needs to be approved through government clearance processes, and the beginning had less nuance and more cheerleading than I would have liked to see. Additionally, the reference to some talented women within a book that admitted it would focus on men seemed superficial.
