Why do Navy SEALs always start their books the same way. “Here I was doing something that could have killed me, but it didn’t, there’s some life advice for you.” I won’t pretend I’m well versed in SEAL books, but every single one I’ve read has started that way, and it’s nonsense. Just because they were indoctrinated to do stupid things for gain, doesn’t make them good at giving advice to people who don’t want to risk their lives.
