This cover is very fun and interesting, it for sure grabs your attention and screams fairytale or adventure! It would make an awesome middle grade read and I’ve even as an adult enjoyed my fair share of middle grade reads. It has a great twist to the story and think this book has a ton of potential to become a very well read and fun favorite read. The author has done a great job setting the stage so to speak to fill you in on details and a back story before launching into the story. I have enjoyed other books by this author and her writing style, so I don’t think that this book will be any different, I believe it will be another favorite read. The author creates another world for you to fall into with tons of excitement and giving us an inside look on emotions of being a preteen getting bullied and being from a multiple ethnic family along with knowing what it’s like to be adopted it. I feel she’s done a marvelous job giving people that have felt this issues in real life a common ground to relate to the characters!
