This was a really good and fast paced page turning read. I love the plot of the story. Love how all the fairytale and story book characters have been reimagined and brought to life. Filomena is a relatable character to many kids these days. Every moment of this story was fresh and new. This is a great middle grade read, witty and exciting, everything a book should be to keep a kid interested and want to keep reading. This is an excellent book for moms to read to their kids or for teachers to read to their students. This is the start to a great series and i cant wait for the next one. Not your average fall into fairytale story but was really really great. I am kinda of jealous of Filomena she got to have her favorite story come to life, i would love it if my favorite series came to life. Filomena’s character is so well written and that makes her relatable to kids around that age. I can’t wait to let my nephew read this book.
