I definitely need to add more middle grade books into my read pile and this fits the bill. I feel like they get slept on and I have not read any Melissa De La Cruz books. And from the first look this is something my son and I can definitely read together. I love the cover. I think the bright, colorful and fun. Which seems on par with how the book will read.
