I was hooked from the start. From the author's detailed, graphic description of the setting to the sudden surprise twist of just who the 12th fairy was?! After all, the book mentions from the beginning that the 12th fairy is dead and the 13th has been specifically NOT invited to the christening of the princess. And when the baby begins crying, we get a MAJOR twist in the plot specifically concerning the characters . . . I love a good unexpected plot twist and this author has already caught my undivided attention!
