In viewing the Bookish First website for upcoming novels, I was intrigued by the synopsis of "Never After - The Thirteenth Fairy Tale" by Melissa De La Cruz. From the first page of the prologue: The Unvitation, I was hooked! Ms. De La Cruz does a magnificent job of describing the fairies. It was so descriptive, that I felt that I could be watching the movie of this novel. The plot is a definite "page turner". I loved how the excerpt stopped at one of the most thrilling parts of the novel, thus far.
Who is following Filomena and why? How will the prologue tie into Filomena's life? Is Cassiopeia Valle Croix dead or missing? Will the final book in the Never After series be found/written and published?
My hope is to be one of the lucky raffle winners, so that I can find answers to these questions.
