Melissa de la Cruz is one of those authors who my students will gravitate toward again and again. She's great! While this one seems geared more toward Middle School students, after reading the First Look I really think my high school students would like this one as well. What's not to love about a captivating story of good vs evil? Princesses, sorcerers, and an evil queen -- oh my! This was a fun, easy read, and I love the little chapter illustrations along the way. It just adds a little something extra that I'm always a fan of. Love it, love the cover, and can't wait to get this one out to my students!
