When I read the description of the book it sounded like one I could read with my children so I read the First Look aloud to my kids. They LOVED it and so did I! It's really fun to read aloud. The writing is lyrical. My son is completely hooked on the story and so am I. We were instantly drawn into the story and can't wait to hear what comes next. The storyline about the fairies is intriguing and is a bit of a mystery. My son says Filomena is "really cool because she likes books like me." She's relatable. We cannot wait to read more! This just might be one of our favorites!
