After previewing this book, I am totally intrigued by the story! The plot of this novel is very interesting and unique. I have always loved fairy tale retellings and stories that feature beloved characters from these classic stories, like Jack. I liked the pace of the story and how the main character, Filomena, was developed throughout the beginning of the story. I could totally relate to her in waiting impatiently for the next book in my favorite series to be released. I am looking forward to picking up this book one day because the story seems promising and I am curious to see what will happen to the characters in the story. The preview ended with a cliffhanger so I cannot wait to see what happens next! The cover is also very nice and made me curious about the book before I even read the synopsis.
