I have only read a short excerpt of this book but so far it seems very interesting.
It starts out with what seems like a family going on a road trip to the Natural History Museum. It is a tradition that happens every year on the main character, Claire's, son birthday. Apparently he passed away when he was 8 and she goes to his favorite place when he was alive to celebrate his birthday. This is the one day a year that they can be "the regular family that they've never been."
That one line was the line that is forcing me to put this on my to-read list. One can tell that there is way more to this story than what is being told so far.
This has left me with more questions than answers and I can't wait to get my mitts on this book and get the answers I want soon.
