Within recent years, we read about the child that was born with three parents. A scientific sensation! This book is, therefore, perfect for the time we live in now.
This book grabbed my attention from the first sentence. I tend to love books that write from different characters' perspectives but this tends to be difficult for some authors. However, I saw that Kira Piekoff excelled at this from the little I was able to read.
I was able to sympathize immediately with both Claire and Abby even though they seemed to be on opposing sides over the main issue of this book. Claire adores her daughter even though she did some very unethical things to get her and all she wants is to protect and keep her. Abby, on the other hand, is getting older and more curious, which is normal for children her age. She feels that her parents are holding her back and is confused by the restrictions which go way beyond normal.
I would love to finish reading this book. A story which starts this strongly deserves to be enjoyed!
