I have never been so drawn in by a novel from the first chapter as I was with Mother Knows Best. The feel for this gritty novel is gives me chills all over and I’m so excited to have had the opportunity to read it. The story sets off with a slow burn that pulls you in and then when the characters are introduced, you are pulled into the drama and mystery. The writing style is unique, but alluring. The prose is eloquent and succinct, full of surprises that are reflective of a fantastic writer. The characters are memorable and the plot is thick with exciting dialogue, character development, and relatable thoughts and emotions that allow the reader to connect with this book on a variety of levels.
