Mother Knows Best starts off with just enough juicy intrigue that it makes me want to keep reading it this morning!! The mysterious feel begins practically on page one of this book, and it hints at a family hiding from a past full of questions... what I already want to know is what happened to Colton and why has the family retreated to an upstate location far away from everything? I want to know who the mysterious J is and why the family ran when they saw her. This book hit the ground running based on the excerpt I read and I feel that it is already building momentum!
