I did not read the synopsis of the book only read the first impression chapters ...
Lucy Maud Montgomery, The Mother poem starts this book off on a creepy, eery, goose bumps of a ride. After reading that, I knew I was drawn into the story already.
Claire comes into the story as a mother of Abby and a son she lost named Colton. Claire seems to be hiding some secrets and I want to know what those are and why she seems so afraid of people, especially J. And who is J? How does she fit into all of this? What exactly happened to Colton? So many questions and wanting the answers, I just want to continue with the story.
The next chapter is about Abby .. The daughter in the middle of all this. She wants to uncover the truth about her DNA results, who this distant cousin is, and why her mom and dad are acting the way they are. She is tired of her mom acting like a zombie and a recluse .. She wants to find out how this woman that connects her with DNA is related to her .. Lot's of questions, lot's of mystery, psychothriller plots, twists and turns. Really want to finish reading this book!!!!
