I am really looking forward to reading Mother Knows Best by Kira Peikoff. Right off the bat I knew I would enjoy this book because the author has employed two of my favorite things here: multiple POVs and a first-person voice. Especially in this genre, and masterfully done in this first look, I think that the first-person voice amplifies every heart-pounding and skin-crawling moment. This was only fifteen pages or so and my heart rate certainly climbed! This thrilling, captivating little page-turner only made me want more.
