Yes, creepy. The beginning of this book gave me the creeps.
The way the two main characters live, hiding from everything, worrying about being found. Its creepy.
Meanwhile, even though its been going on for 11 years, as long as Abby has been around, suddenly they are found by the one person they do not want to be found by.
I guess I expected more of a build-up to that point.
The excerpt also did not include Jillian's voice. That would have been interesting.
With all of that, I still want to read the rest of it!
