This excerpt of Mother Knows Best was really intriguing, as it begins teasing the mystery of Abby's birth immediately. I'm so curious about who J is and why Claire is in hiding and so distraught. After reading the blurb, I feel like it gives too much away and would have rather have discovered those details about the past throughout the book. The cover's okay - the red text stands out and the significance of the red hair has been pointed out already.
