The writing is descriptive and the main character is interesting enough for me to keep reading the story. The first few pages held my attention because the main character has a strange or odd thought process. She may or may not be be paranoid, and the mere fact that she mentions paranoia makes her character somewhat appealing to me. It's like she knows she's being irrational but she still can't help think about irrational thoughts. It's understandable because of what she went through. The book was written in first person and the protagonist recounts what happened in the past. It can also explain her anxiety and paranoia. Finally, I also like how the title and the cover was significant to the story. It's eye catching and it doesn't stray from the story.
