Unique story line! Interesting idea, plot definitely thickens as you read along. I’ve never read from this author before but this story seems thriller material. I’m hooked already. Alice seems deeply traumatized at first from an ordeal from her younger years but after a brief run in at the gym I’m thinking maybe she can hold her own. Her paranoi is understandable at first but I’m wondering how far it goes. She seems to live a lonely life with brief attempts of a normal life by dating off a web site. Her father was a graphic novelist of a character named Mister Tender, and it seems to play a huge part of Alice’s life. Leading to her emotional trauma, eventual break up of her parents marriage, and now in the current stage of her OCD life. I’m enthralled. Can’t wait to read more!
