What an interesting beginning! I'm enjoying the way this story is slowly unfurling. We are finding out a lot about Alice, but without an info dump right at the beginning. The mystery of who is sending her mysterious packages and knows about her past is building slowly with the background information about what happened to her when she was 14.
I also really like the connection to some real life events. The premise of this story is reminiscent of the two girls who assaulted another girl over "Slender Man." It's an interesting take on how this story could have gone.
