I grew up in New England, so I'm all for the location of the book. And I currently live in Wisconsin, and did so when the Slenderman Stabbings occurred a few years ago- which is what made me want to read this. The subject matter is definitely making me want to read more. I'm not totally sold on the main character yet- she sometimes reads as a 14-year old still, and I forget she's 28 until she talks about owning her business, etc. But I definitely want to see where it goes!
