This was a longer than usual sample to be released, but I didn't mind at all! This book grabbed me from the first sentence and didn't let go. I was immediately intrigued by Alice, her past, and why she was the way she was.
The cover is very appealing and seems to fit the theme of suspense throughout the book. The author writes in such a brilliant way, the sentences leaping off the page at me. I felt like I was in the story with Alice, as a silent observer. I really can't wait to read this story in its entirety!
