The beginning of Mister Tender's Girl gives me the impression that it will include some psychological thriller aspects that give suspense fiction a good twist. I am not that sure of the cover, as it is not how I picture Alice in the present or the past. If the eyes conveyed a more paranoid or scared woman, they would fit more with the story. I am curious as to how the author will progress the story from the point the sneak peek ended, as I wonder whether Alice's fears will become reality. Mister Tender's Girl is the type of book that I usually seek out, so I will definitely be looking to finish it.
