This book excerpt freaked me out in a way none others have. I don't know a whole lot about Mister Tender, but I really want to find out. The main character is a damaged mess of a girl, and I don't blame her. I also get the idea that she is a strong woman that will be able to fight through anything, and I really hope that is the case. I will definitely be reading this book as the sample left me not just wanting, but needing more.
I think the cover is rather strange, but I like it. I have a feeling the eyes will be a key in the book once I read the whole thing.
