I really enjoyed this first impression while being creeped-out and kept on the edge of my seat. Alice's paranoia really rubbed off me and set the mood for the story right away. The premise behind this Thriller/Horror is really interesting with a world another author(Alice's dad) created running almost parallel to and affecting thus, Alice's story and life. I'm interested to see where this goes. I'll be reading with the lights on though but I loved the spooky atmosphere, mystery, and backstory I'm waiting to see fully unfold.
