Could be boring or terrifying. I want to read more.

How long does it take to move on after you've been attacked? The main character still won't have knives in her house 14 years after she was stabbed. She acknowledges it won't save her (many other things can be used to kill her), but she still does it.

I know that's not what the author wants me to take from a First Impression - sorry. I do actually want to read Mister Tender's Girl though. If it's good, it'll be amazing.
