Captivating and ominous
I could not stop reading these first few chapters of Mister Tender's Girl. The writing is captivating, moving along at a pace quick enough to entice you while filling you a sense of great dread. It's like a lingering chill hovers over every paragraph. I am so curious about what happened to Alice and who is currently trying to force her to confront her past.
The cover is perfect for the book, it is dark and a little creepy while conveying the look and feel of Mister Tender's hand-drawn origin.
