After I finished reading this new novel by Amy Jo Burns I found myself thinking about the main characters for days. The plot and storyline were very nice.y paced so that the reader is slowly becoming involved in what is happening at every turn. The characters were very well developed and it was so easy to identify with the main character, young Marley West. Despite her young age she quickly becomes the center of attention as she seeks to find a place for herself to feel part of a family. Her life becomes centered on three men, the Joseph brothers. The story centers around this complicated plot and it is at times difficult to navigate and understand Marley’s frame of mind but underneath it all is still Marley’s need to establish a place for herself. She seems to eternally be on the side of seeking and not finding what it is to make her life whole.
