I really enjoyed this family drama from Amy Jo Burns. I liked how she presented the story from all the major characters viewpoints - it really added to the understanding of each character. Marley was a strong and independent woman and her relationship with all of the Joseph men was believable and well developed. I liked how it started out being focused on Marley, but in the end you got a condensed version of the story from each character's perspective. Each one added a little something and changed the way I viewed the character - particularly Baylor and Elise. Mick was the character that drove the motivations of every character, yet I felt like he was the character I knew the lease about. Overall, it was very well written with strong characters. I definitely look forward to reading more by the author. Thanks to BookishFirst for the ARC.
