this book got me hooked since the very first look because once there’s a family drama you can count on me to be reading, and once I could get my hands in the copy, it was even better, I really liked the way the story unfolded and it did not disappoint, it was what I was expecting from the first look and even better! I really liked the way this book touches on family and generational trauma. Also, I did say this in my review of the first look but I gotta say again that I love me some small town story (as a small towner myself lol) so obviously this had me hooked from the start, and watching the development of this characters and the take on serious topics as the story unfolded was such a good experience and read for me, so if you have a similar taste I would really recommend you pick this book as your next read, because it really is worth the read! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
