The Joseph family has managed to survive in a dysfunctional manner for decades. This book is full of all kinds of drama and the author is skillful at making it very realistic. She manages to take readers through all the ups and downs of her characters. But there is more than drama - the story is full of little surprises and mysteries that make it all the more engaging. A very enjoyable read!
