This novel surprised me. It is a light hearted drama. A perfect read for anyone who needs something not so complex but just enough to keep you entertained. Were there some parts where I was like no? Or please don’t! Or aw, so sweet. Yes absolutely but that’s what made this novel so great.
It takes place in a town called Mercury where Marley finds her second family in the Joseph family.
The Joseph family runs a roofing company in the town and everyone knows them. In this town after a pregnancy oops is where Marley finds she can be strong.
This novel is more character driven than it is plot driven but nothing goes amiss within the pages (other than the multiple pieces of drama that erupt throughout the novel).
I’m so glad I got an opportunity to read this novel. The cover is beautiful yet I cannot lie I was unsure about the story itself when I read the synopsis. So I can happily tell you it’s worth the time.
