This is the first book I have read by this author and I grabbed it because of the secrecy it seems to have and I love a good secret uncovering when reading.
It kept me engaged with how while reading the secrets were getting revealed slowly and the family, they gave the drama that only comes from a family drama. It was entertaining in a way. Weaving through the story like a spectator in their lives. The characters were so realistic, well written.
This was definitely more than what I was expecting which is why I enjoyed it. I love the that this takes place in a small town because I too am from a small town. It really does take a view in a family that really gets you hooked. And the way it ended was done nicely. It was well written and gets your feelings in a bunch. There a lot of life messages here I picked up on as I read. I would definitely recommend this book.
