While I don't read a ton of literary fiction, I do dabble in this genre some of the time. The blurb of this one sounds like a found family turn dark and sinister and has me intrigued. I had thought this story would open with the FMC first meeting the boys and was surprised to read that instead, it started with the current time line of them finding the body to kick off the mystery. The writing style was interesting to me and while I didn't quite connect to it, I'm still intrigued with it as well and want to keep reading.
