I really enjoyed this book! I love all things Titanic, and the story line woven into this event was really well done. Pulls you in so much that I finished it in one day. The ending is of course heart wrenching and it threw in some things I was not exactly expecting. I loved reading the lives and backstories of Valora & Jamie especially, but also of the other Chinese men and boys aboard the boat. The author shares some interesting facts in her acknowledgement that I never knew, and was surprised to find out. I'll be looking into that more, so I am glad she shared the information. Also the author's descriptions of not just the boat, but of the clothing, decor, food, so many other characters and of course the events, were all very detailed. This is a story that stays with you long after you read. I will be recommending this one to fellow book lovers!
