I really enjoyed the first look of this book. I loved the glimpse of the relationship between Val and Jamie. I do not typically like books about the tragedy of the Titanic because of the knowledge so many people will soon be suffering. Val is such an intriguing character that I was drawn into the story immediately. Can’t wait to read more!
