This novel describes a little-known aspect of the Titantic voyage—its’ passengers of Chinese descent. Weaving a thread of intrigue throughout the introductory pages, the reader is drawn into what will happen to Val Luck, who is determined to join forces with her brother, working on the giant ship. The misadventures begin early when Val is not permitted to board since she doesn’t have proper documentation. Not to be deterred, she finds a way, and the rest makes for a very wonderful story!
