Val just wants to get on the boat so she can see her brother and try to audition for An act in his circus performance but the joke is on her when she gets there and realizes she cannot get on the ship because she is Chinese and they Are not allowed to board this boat and she does the impossible figuring out how to get aboard and reunite with her brother whom she hasn’t seen in what feels like a lifetime
