I've been looking forward to the publication of Stacey Lee's next book, and I can tell from the First Look that I won't be disappointed. I'm already invested in Valora and her moxie, sneaking onto the Titanic via car crane and impersonating a first class passenger. It warmed my heart when she reunited with Jamie, and I'm tremendously intrigued about how the story with Miss Hart will continue. I'm getting a strong Upstairs, Downstairs vibe from this book, since Valora seems like she will spend equal time keeping company in both sections of the ship, and I'm hooked on that idea. The descriptions of the ship have already been rich and wonderful, so I can wait to read the next section when Stacey Lee describes the "even better" room that Valora is being assigned to, which I assume with be super swanky.
This book is already so interesting that I almost forgot that this is the Titanic. No doubt there will be entirely different kinds of drama springing up as the story continues! I can't wait to read the rest.
