Enthralling and captivating; a new take on the old Titanic story.

The cover is well-designed and very pretty. The protagonist is immediately likeable however perhaps a little naive, however, this is often the case at the beginning of novels and I would expect the character development to address this. I love the poem and starting with a poem is quite a fun stylistic choice. The story is instantly quite engaging and by the time I finished the excerpt I wanted to continue reading. I like the narrative choice so far and the language is interesting and the dialogue is witty and funny. It is quite a novel take on the Titanic story and is immediately different to ones I have previously read.
