I am hugely conflicted about the premise. On the one hand, I love the idea of bringing an overlooked theme into a story that has been told from a very homogenized perspective. On the other hand though, I wonder how justified it is in practice? Why drag her through the Titanic, and most importantly how does her circus career compare to life and death on a sinking ship?
